Helen was the wife of Menelaus, King of Sparta, and was also the most beautiful woman in the world at the time. As stated
above, she was taken to Troy by Paris because Aphrodite, the goddess of love, promised to give Paris the most beautiful woman
in the world. Helen was one of the main reasons for the Trojan War.
Helen was also the daughter of Leda and Zeus. Helen had many suitors, such as Odysseus, son of Laertes, and Antilochus,
son of Nestor. She and Menelaus had a daughter, Hermione.
